Craiglook 1.02 - Search Results

Craiglook is a Web 2.0 Craigslist Search Mashup which combines Craigslist with Google Maps and Yahoo Pipes to help you search and Navigate Craigslist faster.

In addition to the Global Search, it may restrict listings to the area you specify. You can enter your city or a zip code and then specify a mile radius using a horizontal slider on the site. Then you could choose the categories or search for the product or the service and turn on/off picture previews.

Can you add sort by date to the search results? The results are randomly sorted by date which makes it difficult to tell which ads are new.

      Hello Mike,

Following up on your request – please try and let me know how do you like the new “sort by date” and “sort by price”.

It took some time for me to figure out how to do it with Yahoo Pipes but in the end it seems to be working nice and smooth.

    Hello Mike,
    Thank you for the feedback.

Results are displayed in the order they’re being sucked in by Yahoo Pipes.
Sorting is hardly doable, taking that results actually come from multiple sites and categories. Try narrowing them using filters on the left panel

Luc, awesome! I love the new sorting and the distance display is also very useful. Nice job!
